Corbie received her BFA in Painting and Drawing from Wichita State University with a minor in Psychology. She pursued her love of the human figure by completing courses through New Jersey City University and the New York Studio School Drawing Marathon.

She continues to make work that is representational of the human figure that explores existence, human connection, and play.

Her interest in fiber pushed her use of color and boundaries to self expression instead of representation. She creates tapestries and wearable textiles that invoke joy and play inspired by emotions and colors found around her.

She currently resides in the Pacific Northwest where she teaches art to middle schoolers.
